Hey guys, do any of you here know if a test drive with a PI is allowed or any PI offering test drive for their cars..?? My friend and i went to some PI showroom to check out thier cars and when ask for a test drive they said they don't do test drive here as the cars they have in thier showroom are ready stocks and they do not want customer to think that they are actually giving them a test drive car which other PIs does. When PIs do give u a test drive car, they will jus nid to reset the meter and tell u its a brand new car. Is this true..?? from what i know all authorize dealers do test drive, its strange not to test drive the car if you're thinking of buying it cause you won't know how it feels like. Pls share your experience.
Thanks.
Hmmm. Same situation. Went to PI and they said test driving is not allowed.(Not sure if there's any PI who allows test drive) Hmmm. As for the odometer... Never heard of it b4... Partly becuz AD allows test drive is becuz they can sell the car to their own sales man or sell to 2nd hand dealer... As for PI.. They have limited stock.. So i think they don let customer to test drive have their own reason.. Eg, A few customers came and test drive it but doesn't want to buy. (The car have mileage and need to sell at lower price). They are "losing money". They rather don gif test drive and sell the car at original price. If you're really interested in buying, y nt just go to AD.

Not any ordinary PI, they focus on mainly performance cars parallel import
Maybe you can try pinnacle motors. =)
its possible to reset the mileage. have a fren who had such a problem with the PI. and y don't u go to the dealer to test drive first and get from the PI if u really like the car?

Yup, apparently odometer readings can be easily hacked to reset/modify the mileage, I also heard stories of people who went to sell their car, and they can ask him "so how many kms would you like your car to have?" so they can advertise the car as 'Low Mileage' and attract buyers.
