I am so darn unlucky.
I was driving PIE towards Jurong at the after KJE exit. I switched to third lane to overtake. I was driving and there is a fallen branch protruding out.
I was unable to swerve too much to the left as there are car ( the cars I am overtaking).
In the end, the branch slammed and cracked my right side mirror. My side mirror cover is gone and my mirror is cracked. But the moving mechanism is not damaged.
How much does it cost and where can I go for repair?
Thanks

this one is not accident...but suay.
at least ur incident was caused by an object of nature....image ur undercarriage scratched with industrial-strength metal bar...complete with sparks as fireworks.
just go back to ur dealer and get it fixed...I dont think it will be expensive enough for U to claim ur own insurance...so just pay and forget about it.

Yea... Your name doesn't depict the conservative you. Anyway, be prepared to pay at least a few hundreds of dollars.... If the side mirror of your Fit has signal lights mounted to it, that's even more expensive.
should be around a few hundred dollars in the original workshop ba. If your one out of warranty, go other workshop. would be cheaper.
Hey I wasn't driving recklesly or speeding.....
Please dun be sarcastic.
At least no one go break ur side mirrors when u park in city . ;p
I thought you wanted to sue the tree.

Always look far ahead.
For driving, look far ahead. Bus drivers are taught the 12 vehicle rule. Look ahead 12 vehicles so that they can anticipate the traffic, and change lane in time. Always looking at the immediate vicinity in front, will cause you to get caught behind a stalled bus or lorry. And also not see branches on the road ahead.
No need to stare far ahead, just dart a quick look as far as you can see is enough and then repeat as you go along. This way you will see debris and obstacles before coming upon them.
Singaporeans tend to look just infront (developed from looking at the trunk of the car infront), and thinking of all their problems while driving.
