There are many criteria that goes into selecting an escort car which me and you dont know.
No offense, but u make it seem as though the police are spending ridiculously. Look at their normal patrol cars, are they using european models?
Remember, policeman also pay taxes. Human.

Surely, our nation's leader in all sense of grandiose, be paraded in a Proton or (shudders!) a Chery or Ssangyong..Like the army and such, even the commanders have to maintain a certain "prestige" on official duties...
