SE bidded 6000 only so never get =(
Buying picanto from C&C
My wife got it after her Proton's SE first bid,Not sure about the amount too.Need to confirm with her
Dun worry... time is the key...
How did they decide on the amt to bid for us? I got the same deal as Laoda99 but I secured the coe. C&C bidded 6300+ for me...
I will think Patience and determination are the key...
Patience to wait for COE success...
determination to say NO to top-ups =)

Enquire Bid and it will show...provided SE bid for u la.
I juz dun understand how come there are differences in the coe bids from different sales.

Buying picanto from C&C
i also booked a picanto from c&c
$29,999
2 bids oredi still didn't get the coe
u leh?
how much is your picanto?
coe amount placed for bidding is different becos the car price diff SE quoted us is different issit?
Car price is another issue altogether... The thing is because there's a quota set for each category, so I suppose each dealer will have to bid agressively to secure the bid, hence the discrepancy. This is what I feel but I might be wrong...

Still.... Jazz/Fit is the best selling hatchback for the year 2008....![]()
Now there's another promotion for Picanto/Rio/Cerato....
which is pay only $99 per month until 2010... Is this gimmick?
Did some rough calculations...assuming this is not gimmick and they are really subisidizing the instalments on a condition of 7-10yr loan, u save abt 2-300+ a month for picanto..which means u save abt 4K for 2009.
If u are booking the car at the current price...it makes no difference to those who purchase the car at 29999/32999. This is juz a rough estimate. My calculations may not be accurate.

Ya...its also part of my considerations...but the price is still too high for my spending at this time...safer to get a lower maintenance car now...

Assuming full 10 year loan for $32,999 at 2.35%, each month is about $340.
So for 2009, since pay only $99, savings for the year is $2892.
That's quite substantial savings for me....![]()
Nah...but this promo doesnt come with the price we pay for...e price we get wun come with this promo since its oredi so low...
nevertheless...we all got the gd deal for this price..i doubt we will ever get anymore of such price for picanto...
I know u guys bought it before this promo....
I just read it on papers that's why I shared this to those prospective buyers out there...
