I'm totally new to car, I mean no any license nor road experience. I got my PDL last week and my army frienz introduce to me a private instructor and say he not bad, very patient this and that and I take it immediately. I apply at CDC btw, each lesson is $39 and after peak hour is $42, is it reasonable price?
Okay, it is my first lesson today, I was a total noob like I can't coordinate between hands and legs. Once I control the steering wheel and I tend not to focus much on lower limb. I mean I can't seem to drive properly. I was constant being scolded by the instructor, felt so demoralized and lousy. He had to teach me ample of times then I got it. When he teaches me U-turn I always throw my clutch then engine stall and kena scolded. Sianz, I learn things slow and needed constant and patient guide. Sigh, who can recommend? I wonder how long will I take to get my class 3 and how much will I need to invest.
Since you are using private instructor already, why need to ask about centre's price? Cant you make the comparision yourself?
And driving, it takes lots of remembering the tips and putting it into practise. So its practise practise practise.
Of course, if you take the classes with the driving centre, you get more chance of practising at the circuit which you are going to be taking a test at. So its always recommended to learn at the centre.
And why not take class 3a?
private rates are definitely cheaper then school instructors, like 30% cheaper. school's peak hour rate can be up to 60+..
all in all, i would reckon about 20 lessons including circuits and you can go take ur tp.

I spent about $2500 in total. I failed TP once though. Usually can finish the entire course within 20 months for school learners if careful planning is taken.
20months is way too long..most people finish it in about 1/2 a year.
Wow! First lesson do U-turn already?

Its after so much easier when you do take manual before you take on a auto car.

Is your P.Instructor by any chance, called Mr. Poh? Just be patient, I was around your stage when I was learning how to drive. Stalled a couple of times, wrong gear etc.
My instructor more power! He asked my to do a U-turn even before he taught me how. When I got it wrong, he scolded me, The conversation when like this.
Me: You never teach me before!
Instructor: I don't have meh?! Sorry sorry!!
1 question as well. Can Class 3 license holders drive auto cars?
go for driving test lor...
Class 3 manual is allowed to drive auto cars.
Class 3a auto is not allowed to drive manual cars.
