I went for car servicing recently..knn service need until $600! fuking chop carrot sia..
Stats:
1.6L sedan
mileage 50000KM
need so ex anot?
yes. need.
ask them what they did lor. but the price should be around there la for such a mileage.
50k, 100/120k, 150k are major servicing points lah.. $600 is cheap liao, I believe yours is a Japanese sedan.. Wait till you drive a conti..
$600 is also too much for me in my opinion...
too much.
which shop?
they got list down the things they did/replace/service?
Depends..
Is it from authorised agent or some car workshops around town?
I guess for a routine servicing like replacing oil and checking and stuff..it shouldn't cost that much.... the servicing agent must have replaced something...
it's nvr cheap to own a car in sg

TS mention.. 50k is quite a major servicing pt.. I dug out my old service records and here's what they listed for 50/60 k
Replace- engine oil / oil filter / drain plug gasket/ spark plug / air filter / fuel filter / brake fluid / coolant
check - drive belt / cooling / parking brake / undercarriage / tyre / door hinges / brake pipes and hoses / lightings / brake pads / horn / power window central lock / aircon / engine pipe mounting / engine mounting / side slip / druve shaft / electric mirror / ball joint / dust cover / suspension etc
Top up - power steering / transmission etc
And that's easily took half a day and about $700... if got anything spoil or not covered under warranty, be prepared to pay more $...

Oic...ok....
some of them will con u one.. mus check if their repairs realli necessary anot..
Check with another servicing shop and compare lor..
it sucks when they give you the price for the servicing before they start...
then when your car being servicing they give you a call...
"hello mr sinicker, the tyre botak already ahhhh..."
"hello mr sinicker, the battery weak already ahhh.. must change..."
$$$ fly liao.
not much items..
engine oil filter coolant the normal standard items, total think about 10 items..
no change of parts, pretty much like last servicing, which cost 200++..
the workshop is recommended by the car company..
