Hi, my dad applied the rain repellant on the car's rear windscreen without wiping it off. it has caused stains to form on the areas applied. any solution to clean this?
How does your dad apply the rain repellant without wiping it off? I thought the repellants evapourate very easily? I've used rainX and it evapourates almost immediately when applied.
can give reviews on rainX?
i heard from a fren his wipers give an irritating squeaking sound after he applied.
rainX works very well. The rain droplets slide down the windscreen/windows easily and there is no need to use the wipers at all. I normally apply after a car wash. The downside is, it causes your wiper blades to deteriorate faster so you have to change wipers more frequently. (Every 10k instead of 20-30k) I only use on my side window panels and mirrors now.
my dad and me swear by rainx. damn good. as for the wipers giving squeaky noise and lowering the life span, so far no problems. i changed my wipers only at almost 60,000km. been using rainx since day 1 i got the car and i apply it after every car wash. which is like almost every 2 days.
There is also a washer refill from rainX. anyone tried it?
this thing is diff from rain x.. its this stick bottle with a sponge at the end to apply the liquid.. got it at autobacs.. rain x lasts for about a week.. the best way to apply rain x is by pouring the liquid on the cloth or paper towel u are using to apply.. if you pour it directly on the glass.. its not easy to dry and wipe till u get the clear shine..the chemical only works if u wipe it dry till a clear shine..
much have been talked abt rain x...........
