I've got a dilemma about learning and NS

Currently i'm learning driving from ssdc. i just went for my first driving lesson yesterday. i'm enlisting real soon, like in 3 weeks. so i've booked 12 lessons till i enlist. (all thru madly refreshing the ssdc webpage every minute). the instructor said usually it takes ppl about 20-24 lessons to finish. so if i learn half my course now, i'm rly scared i'll forget all the stuff i learnt when i go army, since i won't be having any practical lessons till i end BMT( not sure if there's a break after BMT for me to go for lessons) and then sispec or whatever. so maybe that'll be like a 6-8 mth period for me without lessons. i'm scared i'll forget what i learn. And, i'm likely gonna have to renew my course (waste money again).
so should i spam lessons now? or just take it easy till i go to my unit?

can take sat evening lessons right or are they closed?should have just learnt pte can take lessons on weekends.

got saturday lessons also, but the problem is, the unit will usually let you know if you're gonna be confined on friday itself only right? by then it might be too late for me to cancel the lesson, thus wasting $81 bucks.

then why you tee kee and tiau gang went to create this kind of problem for yourself ? ......

Sadly, for my case, I took a 6 month break in between my practical lessons because of NS too.... but luckily, my memory of driving still remained fresh and once I was able to take leave for more lessons, it went on pretty smoothly....
Hence, I took about 1.5 years to get a licence...terrible...
