I recently booked a car, then after the 1st unsuccessful bidding, I decided to call the sales person to switch me over to a Guaranteed COE purchase.
In such a scenario, should the car agent re-issue me a Guaranteed COE Purchase Agreement or, just issue me a Letter of Request that I have opted for a Guaranteed COE purchase with a top-up of $2K attached to the existing Non-guaranteed COE agreement??
Personally, I feel this procedure doesn't look quite right.
Would appreciate some input from anyone here who has some working knowledge in such procedures.
