I got fine for driving in bus lane. Some people say can write in to appeal. What wil b the most convincing reason so they will write off the fine?
You were not blocking a bus will be the best reason.
The problem is I don't even remember how I got caught.
where was this?
You were probably blocking a bus.
Were you about to make a turn?
How much is the fine?

You don't remember how you got caught = you admit that you did it lah.. If so, just pay the fine. You take the risk - you bear the consequences.

No. If you want you can write in for request of evidence, they will send you the picture they took of the car violating bus lane timings.

LTA ppl mostly like to stand in places where ppl most likely break this rule and take picture... That is how you get caught and remember to smile next time. ![]()
appeal to lta. say u was going to make a left turn at the nearest left turn. only can say either making left turn or avoid collision. and "
its not always our fault, sometimes is officers need to meet quota" is stupid. they dont anyhow summon people for nothing.

The excuse would be " I thought I was driving a bus " ... but seriously, do not think they will let you go off so freely ... I got some bad experience writing in to appeal .. ( not on driving on bus lane though ) instead it snowball to a much heavier fine and I had to pay it on the same day to avoid attending court..
