To put P Plate or not?

I'm a new driver but I am having trouble deciding whether to put a P plate or not. Some people say should put as other drivers will be more forgiving. Some people say people will bully you so don't put.
At the moment, majority is guys say put, ladies say not to put!
Any advice?

Technically I dun't need to put as I've got my license for more than 1 year. Just that have not been driving. -

if u cant even make a simple decision on a stupid piece of plastic. i suggest you dont drive cause yr pretty indecisive and will eventually cause alot of road mishaps.

P plate doesn't give you an aura of protection or "1 up" like a computer game.
if the p plate driver drive like fark, he drives like fark
if a driver who drove all his life drives like fark, he drives like fark
see the difference? there isn't any.
