Hi all, any reconmendation for car insurance company, cheaper premium. I'm a few day old driver, just got a car. Seeing into insurance now, need help in choosing cheap insurance ya. thanks

Guys, I need help this time, my PI agent said that if i dont get my motor insurance, he cant register the car even though i've secure my COE (is that rite?)
there's inhouse insurance provided but I'm free to get mine elsewhere.
fyi, I'm a brand new driver, NTUC under inhouse quote me 4.8k!!!!
I manage to get another insurance broker who got me 4.5k under NTUC, alot other insurance dont wanna insured me.
I've got a bank loan under my name, is it true that i cant get the insurance under another name? Please help guys, first time buying car!

from wat i know car insurance have shoot a 80% increase
my pervious is $1200 now became $1900 for heavy industrial use
normal is $800 became now a $1500
for new driver of couse it more expensive but im not sure its how much
u say $4.8k...???

abit more specific please, I've already got the loan under my name. As for the insurance, can i put someone's name who don have a licence or with a licence?

state ur age, make n capacity of ur car.
y not put it under ur parent's name if u find it too ex?

this is called not doing proper research then just go do liao. to get a 4.5k insurance quote prolly means ur not older than 25. ur choice of a honda prolly brought the figure up a lil bit.. even if its just a 1.3l auto car..
my suggestion is just take the 4.5k quote, belt up, grin and bear it. its not gonna go much lower. try not to get into any accidents for as long as u can.. after the first yr, go around and ask for quotes.. after first yr prolly much lower.

no much insurance wanna insured me, only have ntuc quoting 4.8k, china quote 6k!!!

young + new driver = expensive.
the only positive thing is ur Fit's CC is not tat big if not it would b higher den 4.8k.
generally, NTUC is one of the cheapest around.. wad other insurance have u tried? how abt MSIG?

u can register under someone else's name, but if ur listed as one of the drivers, or main driver, its still gonna be expensive. besides, there is also nothing to stop whoever u register under to make a claim to the car when u decide to sell it later. in ur case, i believe i would also reg under my own name. go talk to frens/relatives who own cars for further advice.
at 23, i would not think about owning a car.. esp not a honda.. bad rep with the insurers lol. then again... becoz of ur age.. most other cars would cost about the same. just grin and bear it ba.

young age + under probation qualified driver (P plate) + present earning income = insurance quotation formula base
