Drivers: Beware of this driver driving SBRxxxx

While driving on yck road this afternoon came across this bastard. He was road hogging on the extreme right lane. I flashed at him to signal to him to change lane or drive faster he bo-chap. I flash again n again he still bo-chap. I got very annoyed and horned at him.Guess wat?? He suddenly stopped in the middle of the road waiting for me to kiss his backside (so tat he can find opportunity to claim my insurance) WAT THE HECK!!!
I managed to stop the car right on time without hitting him. When he's about to get off his car n walked towards me I managed to filter to the left lane and zoomed off...
Car description is an old toyota corona, the driver was a man in blue shirt at tat point of time.
Hope tat the TP will catch him one day.
Any comments on this incident??

Hmm... may I know he was road hogging at what speed? Could he be on the phone?
The driver DO have attitiude.... lol...

If is me i will overtake and go even slower in front of him he lane change i also change... Sure to make him pissed off

Hello TS, yck road is not expressway, you think every road right most lane = overtaking lane, left most lane = lorry + slow vehicles?
People driving slower than you on normal roads, YOU take initiative to overtake, why must people give way to you?

You should never road hog anyway, if you are slow it's only right to keep left unless you intend to do a right/u turn ahead.
Bottom line, don't road hog, it makes SG road a better place to drive on.

On normal roads, i think 6 out of 10 times I overtake from the left. Nothing special. I see road hoggers all the time, but I just overtake and move on. What's the big deal in overtaking be it from the left or from the right? Signal + turn steering wheel a bit will die? Steering rack will spoil?
I don't expect people to give way to me all the time - similarly, I think other people should not always expect to be given way just because they're slightly faster.

I've forgotten how many times I've seen Sonata taxis trying to 'outrun' ambulances on the rightmost lane of the CTE. -

What to do when there are quite a handful of inconsiderate drivers who thinks they own the road. Likewise I had to overtake from the left a lot of times, but there are good drivers who filter to the left when they see a faster car coming, making your drive a more pleasant one.
I have encountered a situation whereby a driver was driving 80 on the first lane on a relatively empty CTE at night, oh my horror when I overtook left and saw the driver talking on the phone.
Btw, why is it stated in the BTT or FTT that it is dangerous to overtake from the left?

Due to blind spot, You may want to speed up to overtake the driver. The driver on seeing you want to overtake him from the left buay song will also speed up. You thought you will easily overtake the driver but actually the car is just slightly behind yours and you cant see easily due to blind spot. -
yea.. if he drive, say 50km/h..
overtake him n drive 40km/h la..
sumtimes 'these' ppl, u lecture to him/her = no use de..
as wad ppl always say, action speakers louder den words.. haha

if a car traveling at 90km/hr on lane 1 isnt consider as road hogging, he is traveling well within the speed limit....
at best he is just an inconsiderate driver.... coz he didnt let a fellow road user break the law when they want to.....
u high beam him on ur part is oso rude.
he jam brake on u and if u crash into him.... is coz u follow to close, so if that happen... oso ur fault.....
so all in all... an arsehole calling another arsehole, Arsehole.....
ps: i too hate ppl traveling at 80km/h on 1st lane at expressway....
