I dont have the answers to these. Any kind soul willing to help?
1) On a 3 way carriage lane, the lane on the extreme right is for
a) Vehicles on fast speed
b) vehicles travelling at speed limit
c) overtaking and emergency vehicles
2) When you notice a cut on the car tyre
a) replace the car tyre
b) reduce pressure on the car type
c) (forgot the option but it's definitely wrong)
3) For long vehicles to make a U-turn, usually they
a) move to the left
b) move to the right
c) move to the right then to the left
4) when some other drivers angered you, you should
a) shine them with high beam
b) horn them
c) ignore them
5) before you change lane, how many long should you on your signal before you change your lane?
a) 3 secs
b) 5 secs
c) 8 secs
my own personal question, what's the difference for rule of laning between 3-way carriage lane and highway?
And any advice for FTT? I got 48/50 for my trial test, feel like going for the theory practise to practise more questions before I go for my actual FTT. Any advice?
TIA! (:

care to explain a bit for qn 3?

Because longer vehicles have a higher turning radius, in order to make a u-turn, they will need to shift left a bit before attempting the u turn..
This one needs a bit of imagination, let me find a suitable illustration.
just think of the scenario of a bus turning left or right. they will need a bigger turning radius than most cars. more so for bus making an u-turn.
but why isnt the answer for question 3 C? C is also possible righht?

Hi coldzero,
We assume that the long vehicle is already on the right. Since it's a long vehicle, the driver would have long ago changed lane to the right way before he reach the U-Turn (as long vehicles hard to lane change).
So to turn effectively when the long vehicle is in the right lane just next to the kerb, the long vehicle will need to turn left a bit before attempting to U-turn due to the wider turning radius.. Or else will mount kerb or pavement.
If answer (C) was: "move left before turning right" then the answer can be accepted.
U-Turns are all on your right, instead of left = )
Hope this sounds clear to you.

Nope, never driven both, just had the opportunity to sit in the rex once..

For Qn 1, I think the principle of 'keep left unless overtaking' applies..
Qn 2, should be pretty obvious that any visible damage on your tyres warrant immediate attention..
Qn 4, your high beam and horn is to be used to warn others of danger/prevent accidents, and not to use it as a 'weapon' against other drivers..
go jalan bahar.
you will see united concrete cement mixers u-turning on the middle lane.
a jalan bahar-frequent driver will know this nyahahaha.
Qn 5 is (a) 3 seconds. very hard to find in the FTT book btw

TS,u sure this is final theory? not BTT?
i find the tp hand signs one hardest (btt), because i damn lazy to rmb -.-
in the first place they will just point at you and ask u to move forward.
i never see them stand still like statue with the signals in the book before
and yea these questions like easier than the more difficult ones.
Any examples of more difficult ones? FTT in 4 hours!
so what's e result? passed?
PASSED! (: Thanks guys!
haha.. Thanks but it's only FTT. guessed I worried too much for FTT initially cause the questions didn't trouble me one bit.. :D next up, TP! :D
