yes. FTT can get tricky. the answers will be quite similar to each other. the solution is to read each question and answers given carefully. do not make careless mistake, and i believe u should be able to pass.

But people say, FTT some of the questions are similar to one another.. So how should we avoid all this careless mistake?
About practical test, how do we practice our parking? espically parallel parking..
For FTT I guess you have to know some rules of laning (eg. which lane a car in a juction should turn into etc.) and do always remember, whenever in doubt, slow down or stop your vehicle. Other drivers and pesdestrian always have got more priority than you, let others proceed first. (:
AHH! Practical lesson starts only on september 11, I can't wait! :D

So you pass your FTT already? First attempt? Congratz to you!
If fail FTT, we have to re-book the timing for the FTT again?
Haha practical lesson quite stress if you're on a busy road.. You went for private or government lesson?

Anyway, do you have any 'lobang' for practical lesson? How much they charge?
Yep.. Passed in first attempt.. (: You have to book the timing for FTT again if you've failed however.. I enrolled in SSDC since I live in yishun area and can't find a good private instructor nearby here. So might as well save the trouble and spend a bit more to have to more structured lessons in school. They charge $80 per lesson which last 2 hours. A bit steep considering private instructors are only charging at $24-$26/hr..

Toa Payoh is near SSDC I guess? SSDC is in Yio Chu Kang but do note they're moving to Woodlands next year March. I booked 20 lessons already, learning Manual. Hopefully I can get my TP after the 20 lessons.

How to practice parking?
For schools, inside the circuit, they should have stations where you can practice it.
I took private, so my instructor brought me to empty parking lots to learn before going into the circuit. Because circuit is expensive, dont wanna waste money attempting inside there, get some basics outside first.

That's one good point for school. You can practise circuit as much as you like while privates have to queue and pay a bit more for it.

You can only enroll after your birthday in September. Can choose one, but lesson must book like 3-4 weeks in advance cause the slots are all fully booked by other students. I wanna feel the power of a manual car, high rev!

So having a private instructor better or school better?
I mean, the lesson is compulsory 20? Which means, per lesson $80, 20 lessons will be $1600?!

I'm not sure about that area sorry.
Mine was over at Ubi, plenty of private instructors there. Just go to the coffeeshop outside and ask around, sure can find.
My fee was $36 for 1 1/2 hrs. $24 for 1hr. Circuit was about $22.70.
If i'm not wrong its still way cheaper than school which charges $60+ for 1hr 40mins? Cant remember liao.

My instructor's a She and it's a manual car, you looking for auto? I'll pm you her number if you're still interested.

1) On a 3 way carriage lane, the lane on the extreme right is for
a) Vehicles on fast speed
b) vehicles travelling at speed limit
c) overtaking and emergency vehicles
2) When you notice a cut on the car tyre
a) replace the car tyre
b) reduce pressure on the car type
c) (forgot the option but it's definitely wrong)
3) For long vehicles to make a U-turn, usually they
a) move to the left
b) move to the right
c) move to the right then to the left
4) when some other drivers angered you, you should
a) shine them with high beam
b) horn them
c) ignore them
5) before you change lane, how many long should you on your signal before you change your lane?
a) 3 secs
b) 5 secs
c) 8 secs
my own personal question, what's the difference for rule of laning between 3-way carriage lane and highway?
And any advice for FTT? I got 48/50 for my trial test, feel like going for the theory practise to practise more questions before I go for my actual FTT. Any advice?
TIA! (:
1)C
2)A
3)A

Yes, you gotta pay up after each lesson.
It depends on how fast you learn, the number of lessons not fixed.
