Any car which save the fuel the most? I would like to buy a car.
CHERY QQ
The kind for 4 year olds that can be rented....
Environmentally friendly...
You can buy a car that boasts a lean-burning engine, CVT, low-resistance tyres and a streamlined shape, but if you add spoilers and drive it like a madman, you won't see any difference. Conversely, you can squeeze 15km/L or more out of a luxury car if you know how to drive conservatively.
But if you insist, go and look for a Honda Insight.
Hybrids save fuel....like the Prius.
You can also refer to http://els.nea.gov.sg/mfels/vehicle.asp to view the the average fuel consumption for most vehicles in Singapore.
you want to save petrol or diesel?
Svae petrol one.
wah prius ah. I dun like the backside.

then why are you asking about fuel-efficiency when you are more hard up about the looks of the car?
i heard from ppl that toyota's cars quite efficiency
Honda Fit is fit. And it will probably be fitter if fitted with CNG technology + correct engine oil.
Drawback is, it is heard to be overpriced.

A retrofitted CNG tank isn't worth the extra outlay or weight.

if you want fuel efficiency and looks still, then it's the civic hybrid. i also want a civic hybrid. ![]()

Make them more affordable then I will consider.
Otherwise, Borneo/Kah can continue to sell their cars to their employees instead.

true. still unsure if savings in petrol & roadtax can offset the high initial price of the car. must do more calculations. ![]()

Ya.. And you get all the green rebates until end of 2009..
It will cost more to run that car if the government does not extend the green rebates.
Heed my advice.. Don't buy hybrid cars in Singapore first.. The technology is still too new..
You should start with maybe a volkswagen polo blue motion (if you rich), or Fiat Grande Punto (mid-class).
The hybrid cars will become dirt cheap when they become widely available with many competitors in the market.
Current competitors only Honda, Toyota (Lexus)
