Good luck if you intend to purchase Honda Fit !

  Hey guys,

  Just recently renewed my car insurance.. Was told by the agent that currently, some companies quote a very high premium for Honda Fit's insurance despite it being a 1.3/1.5 litre car..

  Could be due to the fact that many wrecked cars are honda fits 

  P/s: Saw a few wrecked Honda Fits in IDAC Centre in Bukit Batok.. And most of them are less than 3 months old...

  Blame the drivers who spoil market. Too many young drivers owning Fit/Jazz.

  Apparently,

  The insurance premium is still ok.. and it tends to be higher than other cars cos its an MPV, and 1.8 litre..

  Well, judging from the population of Fit/Jazz on the roads, it's no surprise that you will bound to see some in the workshops.

  i dont think its due to the population, but the type of drivers who will buy these cars.. we dont see overflowing sunnys or civics or altis at workshops

  Maybe that's just a generalisation but I do see lots of wrecked toyotas and mitsubishis at workshops too. It also depends on how you define 'a lot' and where you see it. Yes, it's largely due to human factors that caused the accidents.

  Honda Fit and Jazz are popular among youngster and racer wannabe.The MSCP in my area only there's at least 7 Jazz/Fit owners.90% are modified.

  Jazz insurance is cheaper than Fit insurance. Don't believe you can check it out.
