This is the place where you can crap, debate, anything you feel about the motoring lifestyle in Singapore... So, let me have the honour to spin the wheel... oops... it crash into the police post!!! Better siam... Lol
5 minutes ago, a road rage occured outside my house...spotted this red T-shirt guy driving a white Mitsubishi 'i' arguing with a Merc E-class taxi driver at the lights... Couldn't hear them, perhaps they should use loudhailers and placards...at least we can read the subtitles to understand (hahahah)...
The 'i' driver keep on pointing and waving his arm at the Merc driver... seems like he's doing a 'Saturday night fever' dance ritual...so high...wah...until the lights go green...the 'i' fellow still wave like siao... Lol... until the cars behind him *HONK*...
Still feeling high... the 'i' fellow accelerate his cutie kei into the endless roads before him...vanishing into I don't know where... Meanwhile, the Merc E-Class driver drive his luxury saloon taxi with style and grace... (yeah right...) He must have thought: "i got class, that kei means nothing to me."
So yeah...road rage is getting more rampant here... we are getting our 'uniquely Singaporean' version of F1... If you get the drift... ![]()
Mitsubishi i?
Sometimes want to guailan also must think logically.. a nudge from the continental car would have sent the mitsu flying into the nearest ditch..
Sometime Mercedes cabbies also drive very dangerous & fast.

Hahahah... yeah... I found it amusing... The i driver must feel fortunate that he met a nice Merc taxi driver... I must say... if any conti give a nudge to any kei... they will not just be flying... they will bounce and spin like ping pong balls... Lol...

Yes, they do... Maybe we can request for AMG to tune the Merces?... ![]()
We don't really who was in the wrong here, but some (I would say most in fact but not all) taxi drivers are notorious on the road. One must be very alert when behind or besides any taxi. They may stop or cut in suddenly while trying to get to their passengers.
Just as it happens...
We see cars overtaking each other, driving side by side to cramp themselves in narrow slip roads (the road where zebra crossings are located)... I never quite understand why they are in a rush for... rushing to meet girlfriend for a date? perhaps... Rushing to meet a pal over a beer? can't be... Rushing to meet work deadlines? could be...Rushing to feel the need for speed? Ahhh... probably...
In the midst of our heavy workload, we may tend to do things which may not result in pleasant circumstances... but still, it pays to be friendly and to be courteous, isn't it? Perhaps its because of F1, Formula Drift and other motorsporting events that makes us go ga-ga over speed and to a certain extent, handling aspects.
And it seems like the motoring trend is to 'chiong'... It is like motorists are treating their roads as territorial possessions, fighting to keep their battleground off other road users... Wah... sounds scary!
So that's probably where drivers 'mod' their mechanical life-sized toys... so as to prove their prowess? Well... maybe... maybe not
But one thing for sure is, our roads are getting dangerous by the day... It's time for us to return to driving centres and last but not least... the road safety theme park, where we learnt to put our hands up while crossing, drive or cycle slowly on super kei cars and bikes (no engines included)...
Maybe we should return to the days of horse-drawn carriages and trams?... better not!

Yes... these days there is no clear distinction between the prospects of getting business and safety... Everybody is simply chiongning...

I understand that there is an existing crapbox thread... This thread is created to allow forumnites an alternative to have their say, thoughts of the motoring environment... It is somewhat of a 'mass-blog'... anyone can pen their opinions...
