Did you queue on Saturday?
Worth it?
or a waste of time?
Seems like many people feel that it has caused jams and other problems..
what do you think?
It's stupid to queue there unless you need to pump full tank.
30 mins queue for $15 savings (full tank)? ![]()
The operations manager Henry Chu, he used to work for Starbucks, he only know how to kpkb, not much upper level management skills. When sales is down, he usually gets you into the storeroom and hurl alot of vulgarities at your team.
Oh yah, he has very bad body odour, can smell it even if you stand 1 meter away from him during a normal conversation. ![]()
My dua sen..... the promotion was socially irresponsible.
Yeah, sure, you get cheap petrol. But in the end, you queue up for a long time, clog up the road, and inconvenience everyone else who don't care about the petrol. The cars which idle in the queue generate so much exhaust and noise to pollute the environment - so much for Shell's environment-friendly initiatives.
In the first place, the cars in the queue would burn a lot of petrol. So unless you were pumping a near-empty tank to begin with, that kinda offsets quite a bit of the savings that you get.
I don't have a car, I don't give a sh*t about petrol, but now, I end up saying all these bad things about Shell. So how? Total PR phail.
Those who queue for the promotion definitely have the free time to do so.
I rather use my time to do more productive things than to spend my queuing up for cheap petrol not to mention going through all the frustrations.
