Had my 1st tp test attempt and failed. Was damn unlucky to have the tester. The tester keep hurrying me to do this and that in the circuit when I was already in the 1st or 2nd gear. I was so kan cheong that I mounted the kerb for crank course. He even went to honk other learners if they were too slow. I guess tester really do play an important part during the test. Will we get the same tester again for the 2nd attempt?? Anyway, I took my test at CDC.
normally its different tester la..luck of the draw..then again TP is really all about confidence and the fight within yourself to stay calm.
I also hope that I will get a different tester the next time. Was already nervous while waiting for the test to start. And there comes this tester who keeps hurrying you to do this and that during the test. Make me even nervous. Haizzz. Perhaps I should be more calm.
Some say that a private learner will have lower passing rate. Is that true?
not true la..the tp is just a test of confidence and remaining calm.
many factors la.. i got this nasty experience..
dont take the TP test during lunch time.. all thr hungry souls only know how to park anyhow look for food and make ur test difficult
your tester name dont happen to be song m.c?

tp lunch time is at 1-1.30
i took my tp test on 1st dec, passed on first attempt with 16 points.
i've to say that tp play a very impt factor in you getting your license, if you get a kind one, you should be able to pass, if not then sway luh.

In the circuit, the maximum speed is only can reach 30km/hr right? Did the tester told you what did you do wrong of fail after the test? What time is your test?
You should have gone straight to the chief's office and complain that the tester was interfering.
Tester are just to quietly observe, and give minimal instructions. They are only to act to avoid danger, and not horn a road hog.
They won't reverse the failure, but they will mark you. Don't worry. They will only remember you to help you pass, so that you will be out of the way, and not complain against them again.
It's common to honk other learners because TP tests take higher priority.
u havent meet 1 that-
1 . ask u to drive beside the other. scroll down the window and gave the instructor a screwing on Y he never teach the student to on the hazard light when parking at the side way.
2 he screw the instructor so hard that i also fail my 1st TP test.
Haiz... dont be dishearted, try again another time... dont be too over-confident if not when ya fail, its hard to take..

On the contrary, school instructors will encourage you to book lunch time test slots. At least my CDC instructor did. The reason given was that the testers will want their lunch break and so will cut some corners in order to get back to the center ASAP.
For my lunch time test I was only outside of the circuit for at most 10 minutes
only 3 left turns and 3 right turns to make.
yup, my friend who took the test yest also had it before their lunch time.
pass on the 3rd attempt with 14 points
ts, book your next tp date alr?
So lunch time is the best time to have test is it? Cos I had a TP test this coming Monday at 1445 (December, 21), at SSDC.
Did almost all my revision, just only one of the revision I got too confident, that I made two immediate failure (Exceed Speed limit by 2km/h and Failed to give vehicle to the right of the way). The instructor who gave me those points was kinda shock lah, because he used to take me in my previous revision and know I will look out for such mistake, first time I 'earn' so much point. ![]()
Which this conclude that I shall drive like a angel in the sky in my last revision lesson which is also on Monday all the way to my test. ![]()

2.45 not lunch timing alr.
anw, for tp test, it's not about whether you commit that mistake anot, sometimes you can kana immediate failure but tester still give chance, all you need to show is that you can drive with care and you're a very safe driver.
depends on tester one luh. heng you pass, sway you fail.

but of course luh, you dont purposely go make mistakes.
actually, tp test not difficult to pass one, but normally ppl will fail because they are too nervous, not that they cant drive safely.
so if you can control your 'nervous-ness', press it to the lowest pressure, then you should be fine throughout the test.
good luck dude!
rmb to report back with your result, lol.
so how toyota-corolla? what's e result?
I passed! With 12 points!
wow, congrats.
how was it? fun?
Hitting 4th gear was a plus for me.
when i was taking the test, i did use 4th gear but only for awhile.
