As above, who knows what is the proper way to approach the traffic light for manual car? Eg, if i'm at the 4th gear and speed is 50km/h? Should i down gear to 3rd when at the third arrow?
see traffic light is wad color
if green for sometime liao then must prepare to slow down or rather, release gas pedal, cuz will turn amber then red anytime
if red oso same,
but if red for sometime oso then i think down to third gear, cuz might change,
then when u approaching the nearest car liao and still no turn green, then break as normal lo.
my instructor say one la
hahaha
and simi is third arrow?!?!

Thrid arrow? You don't know? I phrase it properly, i mean before the traffic light, there's this 3 arrow right? I mean that 'arrow' on the floor..

Theoretically speaking, u can slow down and brake once u see the 3rd arrow (which is the one furthest away from the traffic light junction) even at 5th gear.
However, during my school times, we can't do this, hence it will be good if u down gear to 3rd gear once u see that 3rd arrow.
If I am not wrong, for school learners they can only stop at the highest of 3rd gear.

So is a must to down gear to 3rd is it? I don't know when practical test what to do.. Not sure how those tester mark those traffic lights, there must be a proper way to approach before the traffic light. I just need to act infront of them only, when if i got license, i will own self observe what to do.. haha

During my time, my instructor told me to down gear to 3rd when braking. There is a practical handbook for school learners and it is mentioned down there too.

If we slow down, will the tester give demerit points for slowing down or changing wrong gear or what shit??
wrong gear yes
slow down most prob no, but not those crawling speed luh.
you're suppose to relsease accelerator and stand-by your foot on the brake pedal when you go pass a junction with traffic light
change down to 3rd gear doesnt mean must use engine brake hor.![]()
if U are not engine-braking excessively...there wouldnt be demerit points for wrong gear usage.

There will be demerit points for changing to wrong gear.

Yes, 2 or 4 pts, can't remember, under incorrect use of gear. Or something like that.
