Transfer Fees

  Hi pple,
  
  May I ask if the transfer fee for a 2nd hand car depends on the car value itself or is there a fixed amount when bought the car already.
  
  I believe its the 1st one rite? Depends on the value of the car. Any1 can confirm that? Thanks.

  Oh by the way, one more seperate qns:-
  
  If the tail pipe (exhaust) of the car is facing down, can we change it to a straight one?
  
  What I mean is changing to one with the same size, just from facing 45 degrees downwards to a straight one. I used to have a car that change the tail pipe ONLY to a bigger one and fail the inspection, but not too sure with the direction.
  
  Any1 can advise? Thanks.

  If not wrong, the transfer fee should be $1000 (as in Oct/Nov 2002). Maybe u can call up and check with LTA again.

  should be no problem changing the direction as long as can pass the sound and emission tests.
