class 2b- bikes that <200cc for engine displacement.
class 2a- 201cc to 400cc.
class2 - any cc above 400.
c)which is the better choice class 3 or 3a?
class 3 can brive both auto and manual geared vehicles.
class 3a can ONLY drive auto vehicles.
the rest i leave them for others to tell u...

Ok.. I will answer from where kengkia has stopped.
d)if i have a class 3 Licence,which vehicle is the cheapest to buy?how about pickup,minivan,lorry(class 3 license rite)?..hw much 1st n 2nd hand price?
Which vehicle is the cheapest to buy? It all depends on whether you buying 1st hand / 2nd hand, China make / korea make / japan make / continental make.
A China car can cost you anything from 30 - 60k 1st hand. A Japanese car can cost you from 45k - 300k. Korean car from 35k - 90k. Continental car from 55k to 2M.
A japanese van (Hiace) can cost you $54k first hand, and about 39 - 40k 2nd hand. A China Van (Minz) can cost you about 20k first hand, 2nd hand about 10k+. A Korean Van can cost you 30 - 40k first hand, 2nd hand about 10-20k.A Continental Combi (Opel Combo, Fiat Doblo etc) can cost you up to 55k first hand, 2nd hand about 30k..
Pickup = Class 3.
Goods Minivan = Class 3
Passenger Minivan = Class 3 + Class 3 Vocational License.
Lorry = Class 3 or Class 4, depending on length and unladen weight.
Hope this answers your queries !

because you do not see class 4/5 vehicle from licence plate.
Class 3,4 or 5 depends primarily on the weight of the vehicle,followed by whether there is any load or number of passengers.

a) class 2B is for bikes <= 200cc
class 2A is for bikes between 201cc to 400cc
Class 2 is for bikes above 401cc
U have to start from class 2B...pass...hold the licence for at least 1 year...then can take Class 2A....pass...hold the licence for at least 1 year...then take Class 2.
b)vespa belongs to class 2B...cc smaller...so power not big....good or not depends on what U want it for.Safety-wise...its the same as any other vehicle...U ride/drive defensively and prepare for the worst.
c) I prefer Class 3 cos it teaches U how to use manual transmission.
Class 3A is for auto transmission...not to say that its not good...but class 3A cannot drive manual cars...but Class 3 can drive auto cars.
And if U have ambitions for Class 4/5...U need class 3...class 3A cannot.
if U also want to take class 2B...there is no auto gear for bikes...so U still have to master the relationship between the clutch and the gearbox...so might as well take class 3 in the first place.

U go to the side of the vehicle and look for the weight listed.Painted there one.
this is the only way to do it just by looking.

SBS Transit has increased the basic pay of its bus captains by 15 per cent to $1,375 a month to try and attract more Singaporeans to the job.
Together with other allowances, they can earn more than $1,900 every month in their first year of employment.
Currently, SBS has 5,500 bus captains, 38 per cent of whom are Singaporeans.
The lack of interest from Singaporeans towards this job has been a problem in the last few years with the bus operators needing to ramp up recruitment to meet new frequency guidelines by Authorities.

a) class 2b u can only ride bikes up to 200cc
class 2a u can only ride up to 400cc
class 2 is any bike
u need to take class 2b first, then one year later u are eligible for 2a and so on
b) vespa is overpriced and the nicer models are class 2a
scooters tend to be very light, so u have to watch out for potholes. travelling at 100km/hr is not recommended on a small bike too, unless u are at a race track and u can almost guarantee that there won't be any unwanted items on the road.
for class 2b bikes, people tend to buy second hand since most will upgrade after that anyway.
but if u plan to buy a 2b bike and keep it, i suggest u get a maxi-scooter like a piaggio x8 or x9. because it is automatic transmission, comfortable and has good storage space.

SINGAPORE : The Employment and Employability Institute (e2i) has
started a programme to build up the pool of Singaporean workers who can
drive heavy vehicles.
This is to meet the demand for drivers with a Class 4 licence.
Response to this new initiative has been good.
The first batch of 62 trainees who were enrolled for the Class 4
Driving "Skills-Match" Programme last month will sit for their
practical driving tests in February.
Candidates attended a six-week training programme comprising Class
4 theory and practical driving lessons and a Workforce Skills
Qualifications Workplace Safety and Health course.
A "Skills-Match" event was held on Monday morning at e2i, where hiring
companies were invited to meet and interact with the trainees.
Job seekers found to be suitable for the positions may be hired on
the spot and can start work after passing their practical driving
tests. - CNA/ms
