Hi Guys,
I need your advice of the claimed of my vehicle. There was an excess claimed of SGD 1498 billed to me.
The accident happens like this, myself was driving a truck, there is a van in front of me Both of us were waiting for the red light and in the stationary position. Suddenly there was a coach bus which he cannot brake in time and bang onto me and pushes me to bang the van in front of me. After which our statement has written clearly that we were waiting for the red light and so on.
The truck which i'm driving is a rental vehicle which has an agreement with me that the minimum excess fee is $1800 for car accident.
As such the van in front of me claimed me for the damages and my rental company claimed the bus for the truck damages and billed me for the excess fee claimed by the van.
Is there anyway that i can avoid paying as i am a victim and clearly the root caused of the accident is caused by the bus behind.
Do i need to file personal claim against the bus driver separately?
Headache!!...pls help!!!

this issue is very complicated ..I would suggest you get the bus driver particular and call up insurance company customer service of your rented vehicle to discuss the subrogation rights u can fight for ..
even as an insurance agent i wont dare to commit the success of such lawsuit.just let the legal expert in the claims department do the job
Yes the problem of every company facing for insurance claims and it has very negative affect on the insurance companies.
