Hey guys out there, im currently interested in purchasing a old honda civic esi from sgcarmart.com and i have a few stuff that im unsure about and i was hoping some of you bros out here might help me out :)
Im intending on using the car for daily transport and also want to mod it abit. The car im interested in buying is lesser than 10k. Im afraid that after purchasing the car, i would have to spend alot more to overhaul/replace/change the wear and tear parts. And also have to send it for maintainence regularly because it is so old, and which in the end, the final price i have to fork out is around 15-20k. Is it true? because a car costing less than 10k is alittle hard to believe its true haha.
Im just a student and wouldnt want the car to break down halfway while im driving halfway. I just want to make sure before i purchase the car, that it is worth the price and i wont regret it. Sadly im not too experienced in this thats why im hoping some of you bros out here might offer me some advice.
The cars im interested in are something like:

You are better off at buying Toyota Starlet instead.
Cheaper Road Tax, Cheaper Insurance, smaller and easier to park, and more fuel efficient too.
