Help in accident with vios

I was on SLE when car A ebraked, causing the vios in front of me to ebrake. i was driving a renault kangoo, so the brakes weren't tt good, and i crashed into the vios at probably 30km/h. this is the result:

the renault kangoo i was driving was rented, from a private renter, so i asked the person i crashed into to take it to a private workshop. after all, i think its my fault in the end and its not fair for the renter's insurance to bear it, which wld increase his premium.
Can anyone help me with a quotation on this? i'm still studying, have to prepare the money in case its too expensive : ( damn sianded by this accident...

Looks like a clean hit (which is good). Okay the Toyota Vios, prolly is made out of recycled milo tins cans, but anyways.. bumper replacement will cost you $350 and respraying would cost about the same.. "was only travelling at 30km/h", boy have i heard this before.
p/s: never ever tailgate again, idiot.

painting = $200
rear lights = $300
reverse sensor = $200
rental for 3 days = $300

well maybe that time heavy traffic moving at slow speed?

i myself also observe that those slow or heavy traffic moving at low speed, we do not know whether infront car is moving how fast the distance is, therefore i think all motorist tend to acclerate more. If the front car suddenly stop, your car will have knock the front car. So how do we or i prevent? If too slow, other car tend to cut in or lane change..

Only people like you will accerlate more. Slow moving traffic accerlate hard for what? Close gap ya, but you rather crash into somebody ass or maintain safety distance. People wanna cut into your lane, let them cut lah.

yea i agree. no point closing the gap in front when u do not know what will the drivers in front do. if they e-brake, gg, u might not have enough time to brake, just as the case of the TS.for me, i wont accelerate if slow moving or in a jam. i will just let my car roll at 20km/h.
only accelerate when the traffic is picking up. -

The way you mention about closing gap, is very dangerous. We are not trying to cross the woodlands checkpoint on a friday evening, or stuck at customs at JB side on a sunday night.
No hurry = more safety.

True. If the traffic is that bad, the car which cut in front of you won't be reaching his destination any earlier; you won't be reaching yours any later. Both of you are still stuck in the jam.
Today's traffic seems bad, PIE, ECP, KPE, jammed!
