$4 for whole day parking how to tear coupon?

  I was parking at a place this morning and that place is available for free parking the whole day (7.30am to 10.30pm) for $4. I tore a 8am,10am,11am and accidentally a 9pm instead of 9am $1 parking. However it still amount to $4. Will I still be fined because the timing is wrong?

  actually from what i heard you should tear all 4 coupons with the same timing

  ya for this, you can just tear same timing, lets say u reach 9am, u can just tear all 4 at 9am...

  Is it? You tried before? Got any fine? Cos i tear the coupon half hour by half hour, make me so confuse when tearing..  So can tear all the same timing is it? As in i park at 12pm, park for maybe 2 hours? So will be 4coupon tear at 12pm?

  Yes. It's quite commonly done.

  I don't think they'll fine you or anything. In any case, you have all 4 x $1 coupons for that day.

  cos tat car park is big and to encourage ppl to take public tpt to Sentosa.

  Yes even in normal carparks, like you want to tear 3 $1 coupons to park for 3 hours starting at lets say 1PM, you just tear 3 at 1PM, and it is understood you want to park till 4PM. But if you tear wrongly, you may still be fined depend on whats the situation, cos the warden will just do his or her job accordingly. But based on the situation, you can always appeal based on common sense sometimes, it happened to me once, and they waived my summon.

  Keep all the coupons, if kena summon, show the coupons.

  You can tell them you did pay a total of $4.00 for whole day parking.

  Fatimah when she summon you will note down the coupon serial nos.

  If you don't have the coupons, very difficult to prove your case.
