New STi.

  My friend is coming to pick me up for coffee later in his brand new STi...

  this would be the fastest car i've driven, and the second fastest car i've been in.
  
  the fastest car i've been in, and many of u might not believe this, is the 360 modena.
  
  if any of u think i hao lian or wat, get a grip, i would NEVER be able to own such cars.. i'm just lucky to have frens (and an ex-boss) who are that lucky!!~~

  oh! i'll be bringing my cam AND tripod to take pics of the car ahhaha (like it's some supercar like that!) and see if i nett any good shots and post it up here, minus the number plate of course.
  
  depends on where we go. if some kopitiam and park in HDB i think i won't bother ahhahah...

  he hasn't zheng it yet. wanna make it around 350hp but not changing turbo. i'm thinking how far he can take the stock turbo. prob replace with a front mount 'cooler he might be able to push the turbo further but i dun think he wants to spend that kind of money either.
  
  let's see, it's at wat? 280hp now? cat back exhaust might add wat 20/30? then wat? air filter *bleah* maybe 10.
  
  can always up the boost, but i wouldn't play with stock turbos..
  
  and with more power on tap, u can get ready to change ur gearbox every 3 months..

  well the new face-lift is better (imo) than the old one. it's not that bad now...

  ok anyway, my friend, nor i, didn't gun it past 5k, it's only got 2k clicks on the clock so he's still "running in". actually no need lar, but i guess kiasu a bit in this respect doesn't help. engines are usually run in from the factory, but i think the rest of the car isn't - drive-train, gear box etc.
  
  at 5k of course u can feel the boost, but it comes in quite late, at 4k. b4 4k, it's like ur NORMAL 2.0 car, if not slower. this car is meant to be driven at over 4k ALL the time... YEAH~~!!! good one for shell, mobil and esso.
  
  wat else? handling is needless to say, top notch, four-wheel drive means putting ur foot down around a bend is almost a SAFER thing to do! i think the evo8's still have the active YAW control where more power goes to the outside wheels when rounding a bend, but not the STi, which is a pity.
  
  while handling is great for staying on the road, it's actually rather bumpy, which is expected for that kind of car. not ur everyday camry. i wouldn't say it's uncomfortable, but u won't be taking a very comfortable nap while is moving. who the hell would wanna take a nap while in an STi anyway???
  
  i haven't had a chance to try the brakes!! ahhaha i dun think i'll ever want that chance..
  
  ok lar enuff for now. tomorrow one more time. 9am~!!! going to dunno which workshop in senoko to make sure his turbo settings are correct.
