Honda Fit anyone??

  Hi guys, new to this sgforum site..... I jus bought a Honda Fit 1.3(A) from parallel importers. The sad thing is the manual comes in jap version. So is there any bors or sis in here owns a Honda Jazz? I would like to borrow the manual if possible....
  
  Another thing is some qns to ask u guys here..... Currently I'm still running in my engines.....so using mineral oils. My average fuel comsumption is about 13-14km/liter.....Izzit ok? Thought after changing to fully syn oil will have more mileage.....I using ESSO 5000 petrol.......izzit alright for this car or under power?
  
  This car is using SOHC engine instead of DOHC.......i know its bout single and double cam.......but besides that i dunno wat it means.....wats the diff with single or double cam???

  single and double cams refers to the rods that rotate and causes yr intake and exhaust valves to open and shut.
  single cam means that 1 rod controls both yr intake and exhaust valves
  double cams means 1 rod controls intake,1 rod controls yr exhaust valves

  Hi,
  
  I think its more advisable to use ESSO 8000 for your petrol. Better burnt thus more power.
  
  Anyway, 13-14km/l is quite okie.
  
  My Civic 1.5 is abt 10-11km/l. & currently I'm using Shell 98, ESSO 8000 equilevant.
  
  By the way, DOHC car is definitely better than SOHC. In general, better power.

  if u want really good petrol runing in yr engine.... use caltex....

  but caltex quite ex leh......compare to other petrol.......now using esso 5000

  but then hor... fit r all auto leh in sg think e manual one they will bring in but not so soon...

  sorry....jus saw ur post.....not very used to the format here.......well.......so far all fit is auto......and i bought it at 78K which is very ex......no choice...buy at a wrong time.....
