Better dun sign on for a car. You will regret it. Think of the IPPT and SOC and range ou must clear complusorily when you're in combat. Else you'd miss you bonuses and retard your promotions.Originally posted by Wen^Chu:hi guys......i heard that our monthly installments cannot exceed 1/3 of our pay.......but if i sign on in army , will the dealers approve of my installments?

If you're in service vocation, your pay will not be as high as combat. But if you're sincere in getting a job with SAF in the service vocation, do think about the overseas posting you have to commit into for a year. Each serviceman must complete twice a year's overseas posting if you're service voc. Once when you're in the 1SG -> SSG phase, once when you're a Junior WO. So got money lah... but no time to drive your car.
