92 Charade

Hey guys,

I've been driving a 92' Charade CX for the past year.

I was wondering if anyone here knows the minimum RON value for it?I have been pumping Shell's Fusion 95.

RON for Daihatsu Charade is Octane 89. However, S'pore is kiasu so the minimum is 92. Fusion is more than adequete for your Charade Wink

Great!

Anyone else driving a charade?From personal experience,I think the car is realtively spacious for its size.Though the engine is a little loud.Fuel Consumption wise,its economical.A good deal for students. Mr. Green

Hi...i used to drive charade also....2 door one....and yes....it is spacious in term of width....but as for ppl with long legs like me, after i got into a comfortable driving position, the seat behind can't really accomodate anyone liao....haha....as for the fuel comsumption.....it gaves me hell man....30 liters i get bout only 280-320km.....power wise also cannot make it leh....you get ur car full of people, the power reduce by half......anyway since u are happy with it so its alright for u lor.....

.....wanna mod it to GTti but later think its not very advisable.......so change car to the new Honda Fit..... Embarassed

actually i only drive that charade for a yr......and changed a lots of parts like starter, cooling coil. engine belt, radiator all this Sad

.....den sold it off cos that car maybe no fate with me.....gana kiss by other a total of 5 times in less den a yr Confused

......and thru the log bk, the 2nd owner also use for half yr only Neutral

......something is wrong somewhere.....in total i lose bout $15k on this ill-fated car Evil or Very Mad

......Hope that my new car will bring me some luck..... Cool

Wow.I did not know it would be that bad.Fuel consumption wise,I defitnely click more for 30 litres.Im testing it now, Laughing

Powerwise,yes i agree its underpowered.But that's only when you carry a full load lah. Mr. Green

I'm looking forward and aiming for a 206 coupe Gti or cabriolet.Any comments about that car? Question

the 206 coupe Gti is not a bad choice cos i personally like it a lot...... now age catching up liao so get a more family oriented car....hee... Laughing
