I have very bad experience with Malaysia made tyre, it's very noisy when the vehicle is on the move and I will need to replace them very fast, no doubt the price is cheaper. As such, i am trying to avoid using them. Then how should i choose a tyre that will not be too noisy even if it's made in other countries and the rubber is more lasting ?
Usually how can we verify that the tyre and sports rim are manufacture in which country beside being told by the salesman ?
There is no indication on the tyre not the rim to indicate the country they are produced.
Thanks
Wad cam shaft... it's Driveshaft.... how can camshafts b made of carbon??? anyway... i just remembered another brand... Bridgestone.... Dun use potenza... it's noisy as it's a perfomance tyre... try Turanza... not badOriginally posted by diabolus:Falken ST115 is good....so is Toyo Trampio....

It all depends on your driving style, and needs...Originally posted by justyme:Hi

Wrong.... those are the High-performance Tyres like Eagle F-1.... Pirelli and goodyear have also got tyres more for comfort and less noiseOriginally posted by DaKaR:It all depends on your driving style, and needs...
For me i like abit of excitement... Previously on Falken Azenis ST115... For first 15k it's really quiet... But then when it loses traction... you better pray you have a good heart, coz it just gives way without warning... Now i am on Bridgestone Potenza S-03... Really good grip.
If what you want is comfort, You can try going to Bridgestone GIII or Yokohama Aspec DB aka A500 or Yokohama AVS DB. Yokohama tires are relatively quiet and confortable, yet give good enough grip for day to day driving. But It won't be able to take much hard driving.
If Budget is a big issue, I guess you will only be looking at Yokohama Aspec DB or Kumho 712, but Kumho will be quite noisy after ard 20k, based on the experiance of lots of users...
Anyway Dunlop Leman series, Pirelli and Goodyear tires are very noisy for your info...
