  Hi Yowzer,
  
  I'm keen in the WRX Turbo 2.0 MT (S$107,500). However, I will need to trade in my Civic in order to get that.
  
  By the way a few qns if you can reply me now.
  
  1) Does your company do trade in? If so, can you kindly work out for me how much does a Honda Civic 2001 July 1.5(a) VTI worth still? I have a rough idea but need further confirmation. If i can't get a reasonable price for the Honda, I can forget abt upgrading.
  
  2) What's the different between the Sport Verison and none sport version? (e.g. Rims? Seats? ??)
  
  3) Care to list the spec for these 2? Pls let me know asap, so that I might just pop down to Ubi on weekend.

  The difference is mainly on accessories:
  
  For the WRX STI Turbo (standard class):
  
  Standard accessories: Subaru CD Stereo, Fog lights, Immobilizer, Carpet Mats, Exhaust Cutter, 17" STI Sports Rims, Side Body Kit, Bucket Seats.
  
  Other accessories: STI Spoiler, Huper Optik. (Plus $6k Service Credit)
  
  For the WRX STI Turbo (Sports Class)
  Standard accessories: same as above
  
  Other accessories: STI Spoiler, Rear Under Spoiler, Triple Meter, STI Wheel Nuts, STI Pedals, Huper Optik. (Plus $3k Service Credit)

  For your first question:
  Yes, we have a few of our in-house dealers tat cater to trade in of used cars. In order for me to get an accurate quotation for your Honda, i do need more information, namely your licence plate no. as well as ur IC no. (i presume tat the car is registered in ur name). With this info., i can obtain more info of ur car from the net and subsequently speak to our dealers to get the best quote for ur Honda.
  
  I will combine both ur 2nd and 3rd question together to answer ur queries. The difference between the two is mainly on accessories.
  
  For the Std WRX:
  
  Standard Accessories: Subaru CD Stereo, Fog Lights, Immobilizer, Carpet Mats, Exhaust Cutter, 16" Sports Rims, Side Skirts (Body Colour), Bucket Seats
  
  Other Accessories: WRX Spoiler, Huper Optik
  
  For the WRX Sports Edition:
  
  Standard Accessories: same as above except 17" Sports Rims
  
  Other accessories: High Mount Spoiler, Front Under Spoiler, Front Sportive Grille, Momo Gear Knob & Aluminium Frame, Huper Optik

  Forgot to mention that our showroom will be closed this weekend. There is a "No Reason" party at leng kee during these two days and all of us will be there. Please give me a call if u're making ur way down to leng kee. Another thing, i do hope u can get back to me quickly as the price for all 2litre vehicles will increase by 1k come monday.

  Think many pple r 'force' to take in house insurance which is very expensive. Pls advise, thanks.

  Yes it is advisable to take our in house insurance (AIG), at least for the first year for the simple reason tat AIG will provide 100% indemnity with New-for-Old Replacement. The benefit is stated as such:
  In the unfortunate event of a total loss due to accident, we will pay you the full purchase price to buy a brand new car if the insured vehicle (saloon only) is less than 12 mths old. In other words u get a new car in replacement of the old*
  
  *Subject to policy terms and conditions.
  
  By taking insurance outside from our in-house insurance, u are freeing yourself from this benefit. Thus, in short, it is more advisable to obtain insurance from AIG.
  
  Anyway the break down of insurance ranges from $1166.39 - $2578.34 depending on your age (28-65) as well as your NCD.

  Also, my main purpose is to see how much my Civic is worth before I can really commit to a WRX. Your guy there gave me a very poor price for my civic (Can understand though), and after working out, thereÂ’s no way I can afford the WRX.
  
  But wow, the WRX with the full bodykit and STI spoiler is really a beauty. Really ‘gian’ to own and drive one but cannot afford.
  
  Also, the insurance is going to be a problem cos IÂ’m yet to be 28 yrs old. Anyway, really thanks for your time and information.
