yeah.. i support Ah Wei's comments.. go get a new car.. it's much better... and yes... mileage is too high...Originally posted by Ah Wei:Okie here we goes............
The price of the new IS200 is abt 130k, and the scrap value is abt 26k, so 10 yrs depreciate 104k, which work out to be 10.4k a yr, abt 866 a mnth.
Not to sure abt the parf of the car u see but guess 2000 car has higher scrap, lets say 28k (estimated). So 92k-28k = 64k. Left with 6 yrs 8 mnths, so mnthly depreciate abt 800. Not much of a difference. Also, has to note that the mileage of the car is a little on the high side. Believe u can push the price of the car down further.
Also, for 90k+, why don't u consider getting a brand new car like RAV4, Vti1.7 or something else. You will still have 10 yrs to drive.
And most importantly, problem free.
Just my thoughts, fyr.

ARE U SURE?! Wat typr of Lexus is that? Twin Cam Twin Turbo?? Lolz... Better double check on the price again... $70K+ might not exist as sometimes, dealers will purposely slash the price of the car just to spoil market and make u come back for them, and when u return, they will say the car no more liao... ask u to buy another... all the tricks... be extra careful and also check the body of car.
opps no...it is 70+. typo error.Originally posted by Daiki:700K+![]()

yup i totally agree with him.Originally posted by BLIM:Hi Goodeal,
I agree with Ah wei. Compare to a second hand and a new car, most people will still prefer to new car and it will never give you problem.
yah that car, got a dealer introduce me the car at $67k.Originally posted by BLIM:Hi Goodeal,
Perhaps you can consider buying Nissan Sunny which I'm driving nw. I bought it at about $70K ++. quite good.
