  Kopiosatu, my thots exactly!!! Before I got the VIII, I searched the net for pix of the IX and its the same as above. Thinking about it, those are pix of the VIIIs with some brush changes....

  look almost like the same as the current Lancer family car... haiz.. bad design from Mitsubishi.. i tink its the same body lor.. now ppl can buy normal lancers to modify like EvoIXs........

  whats with mitsubishi?
  they expect us to be loyal to evo when their glory stopped at 6?
  they have turn the evo from a rally car into a street performance car to a normal sedan car?
  evo 7 is soft and problematic
  evo 8 transmission problem
  evo 9 lancer with a spoiler and front bumper kit?
  look fat also like corolla but not wide...
  i think the future is subaru's for 4wd turbocharged
  personally i would prefer a NA FR car
  something like RX-8
  for performance wise i think the up-coming RX-7 with supercharged 300bhp will be cool and hip
  turbo car jus to problematic, high maintainence cost, expensive insurance and roadtax

  Not really, i sat on my friend's RX8 and finds that the engine is too hot. Meaning if u sit at the rear seats, u will find it quite hot coz the exhaust is generating too much heat. Anyway, the torque is not as good as i expect.

  Think its really speculation. At this point, what is firm is the Evo VIII-MR or unofficially Evo 8.5. Coming in soon to your nearest PIs.

  I heard of this model from the news and friends but couldn't find any existing pictures in the web.

  in singapore ppl always say that evo rule scooby.
  but the fact is scooby rule evo in many part of the world, example most ppl in japan, aus and us all prefer scooby.
  well i just like the quality for scooby interior and body.
  evo body quality not bad also but the interior plastic is soo simple and quality damn lousy.
  really wondering what mitsubishi is thinking...
  but the upcoming concept car called cz3 look awesome and more user-friendly for singapore rd.
  the cz3 is based on the current colt, with a turbocharged 1.5l engine, 4wd. hp is not known.
  but the car seems to be able to handle very well.
  i guess the next wrc car for mitsubishi should be the cz3.
  i doubt they will continue to use the evo for rally as rally car nowadays are getting smaller.
  easier to squeeze thru tight corners?
