but usually European cars are more popular... for reasons that elude me

Logical reasons not much people wanna bring in american cars. pick one.
1) Left-handed driving position
2) Huge Engines, (viper is like 6-8litres, Imagine the petrol cost)
3) Some of their cars/SUV are too big for singapore's class 3 category.
4) LTA does not allow class 3 cars to run on diesel, except taxis, vans, trucks, etc.
Thats all i can think of, maybe malaysia should bring in some american SUVs, would be damn chio to see them in KL.

Ehh, American cars? A whole lot of cubic capacity and not much else besides that. I'd much prefer something light with good handling and with a good power/capacity ratio.

I don't understand what you're getting at. Firstly, the storm is available in Singapore, just got to import it in from malaysia. There's one yellow one in the katong area. Secondly, it's a sporty doublecap, under the Pickup Category. btw, the only american pickup i like is a dodge ram, damn sporty looking,
esp, when you put it with those 2 stripes in the middle of the car, like the one found on vipers. Saw it on wheel of fortune. heh heh. -

haha, tank slow. Use Hummer more stylo, cos it's bomb(Landmines) proof. Quite scary to see tanks on our expressway, esp. since it's another country's one.
