  i also wanna know.. i recently booked an evo 8 and still waiting for it to arrive. i have no idea how fast the car is, cuz i didn';t go for the stupid test drive. it was just a rash decision. am i justified in getting that car? and how do i ensure the best condition of the car? like in engine and all that..

  nice of u to buy a mitsubish, i like mitsubish cars 2.
  how old r u anyway?
  for mitsubish , the engine is smooth and fuel consumtion is quite okay.
  for the 2003 model the car look nice 2
  suitable for a gal like u.
  powered bt 1.6 l engine.
  for higher range is the lance evo lution.
  powered by a 4G63 turbo charged engine. Full time 4wd system.
  from 0 - 100 abt 5.5 sec
  but the cost is high for this car and just remeber to change oil regulary bcos the engine is turbo charged.

  dun worry about it...
  my family car is an Airtrek Turbo R
  to be honest mitsu's turbo engines are very good, u can push them or u can be mellow with them, they respond well either way.

  For turbo charged cars the engine oil tends to get black very easier
  bcos of the high running temp of a turbo charged engine.
  normall 5000 km is okay but if u drive and rev your car very often u
  will realise the engine oil turn black very fast.
  u can know the engine oil condition by installing an oil temp meter in your evo 8 should when the temp goes beyond the normal range
  after a few months u will know your engine oil is not so effective already.
