Modification options for Corolla 1.6

Anyone know or can recommend ? not sure the exact model but its 1.6 vvti behind. any perfomance mods that are legal ? or at the most easy to take out before inspection? . any one know how much a decent bodykit will cost ?

I dont know how much bodykits cost lah. But regarding to get more horsepower legally, you can actually look into getting Air Filters (K&N,HKS), Grounding Unit Wire, Exhaust - try Remus but i dont know whether can fit the corolla should be can lah. Try lah. I own a 1.3 corolla XL. I presonally prefer K&N than HKS...dunno y...but i heard tt the gounding wire is supposed 2 improve yr idling speed right? -

The older model coralla will be better choice for MOD

I ever saw a turbo charge coralla at a petrol station
looks normal but when change gear OMG the bypass sound makes you look in disbelive -

btw, if u own a fat boy, the tires are a good choice to change....perhaps a 15/16" rims+tires looks pretty aggressive.
put a body kit also can. plus the usual air filters and stuff that are stated above. -
change the suspension lar....SACHS is good....I personally dun mind the firm ride....In fact i think the only ppl who mind a Frim ride is ppl with ostreoporosis....and ppl with that wun Mod their cars....

The Corolla 1.6 VVT-i is it the 2001-2003 model?
If it is then i think you have to take out the air sensor before you do something with your baby, there will be no point modifying the air filter when you have an air sensor guarding it.
The HP of the corolla is actually only 92bhp stock(from what i read)
so the more better choice of modification will be the exhust, ground wires the TYRE 15" will be the best and if you want to play corner PLS get a 195 tyre.
*note when rev-ing in high RPM will bring the idling time of the car up (e.g. at 100km/h at gear 5 before doing any nonsense you will be at around 2600rpm, after you whack your rpm to red line, the next time you go at gear 5 at 100km/h you will be expecting about 3300rpm) (my 2 cents worth again) -

Sometimes its an electronic BOV. but true enough there is turbo-charged Corolla ive seen with BOVs...the KAaacccchiiiinnngggg!! sound. hahaha some Electronic BOVs quite cool too... finding that but i cant find a good price for it. abit cute the sound...
