  Scenerio:
  Looking for a "below 1600 CC" car. (Cheaper COE)
  
  Budget around 60K.
  
  First hand or Second hand.
  
  What are the models you would suggest getting?
  List them down and the pros and cons.
  
  Need ya help.

  get the peugeot 206....it's a 1.6 liter car....or get the renault clio....handles extremely well 2nd hand lar for both....

  realistically, there isn't a choice if you want a new car for less than 60k (Kia Rio)....the options open up between 60k-70k.
  
  i'm sceptical about the quality of the 206, especially if it's the pre-facelift model. clio is alright as a 2nd hand buy.
  
  the vios is comfortable and looks modern, but it isn't inspiring to drive hard. the city is too fugly to be seen in...the ageing accent and laser are still available, or try out the getz, it's thoroughly modern and safe.

  i had the same buget as u....
  and i got myself a second hand sunny....
  i think its still affordable for my case....
  although its common, but who cares.... hahaha

  guys juz wondering
  do the parallel importers in singapore import
  convertibles/coupes from europe ?
  
  I mean the parallel importers do carry some sports cars from japan which the main agents in singapore do not carry like the toyota celicia/madza rx8 etc etc ...
  but do they also import convertibles from european brands like renault/peugeot?
  
  Oh yah anyone knows what is the difference between a coupe and a cabriolet ???

  coupe is a hardtop, and a 2-dr car. cabriolet is a convertable, mostly coming in 2 drs.(rare to see 4 dr cabriolets)
  
  they can bring in the car you want, but are you willing to pay for it. they can bring in most eu. cars, but you'd have to put up with ordering spare parts from eu. Not worth owning such a car that'll put a whole in yr pocket.

  Hi guys
  
  Wish to check with you people. Usually when you buy new car what do you guys usually ask the sales personnel or take note(the performance of the car, the loan, the after sale service...etc)?
  
  if buy 2nd hand car, what to take note as i dun have a good impression of 2nd hand car dealer.
  
  For the after sale service of new car, i heard from my colleague that Toyota not good but nissian got standard. What bout other brand.
  
  You guys find that owning a car is like burning a big hole in your pocket? Well, i guess if we love car, usually dun care bout burning if we can afford... right?
