There was once in bbdc... the instructor bad mood...he scold me here and there none stop. I damn du lan...so got one traffic light i bloody rev the engine at 6k then do wheelspin...then he shocked and say "you trying to kill both of us or what?" i gave him a du lan look. then at the end he said "sorry if i scold scold hor...sorry hor... i dont mean to scold u that much..." he still give me 3 chop in the book hahaha i passed that lesson!! hahahaha also got once... my instructor sit in the car...then he go race with another centre car..hahaha fren fren race...Originally posted by jess_11:while u r still learning... either as school or private... any happening/interesting incidents??? -
During my tp test, I was leaving the filter lane to join in with the main road in the circuit of the driving center.
Since the filter lane I was on had 2 lanes and I was on the right lane,when I filtered out to the mainroad - 2 lanes.I should keep to the right lane,but the tester rose his voice and ask me why drive on the right lane.I was so pissed that i uncontrollably rebutted him back,"Correct what,i came out from the right wat"
For the rest of the test he kept his mouth shut.I passed the test. -
First time tp, morning 8am class den last session tp at 3 plus 4... very tired dat dae not enough sleep... came down the slope 37 at bbdc didnt realised its a sharp turn den turned early... hit kerb not mount kerb, but kena failed straight... damn pissed off... went onto road den speed all the way above 90km/hr... tester dont even dare to let me go too far den go back to circuit liao... but worse thing is when 2nd time tp, same tester... neber suay till like dat b4... but heng passed lah..Originally posted by jess_11:while u r still learning... either as school or private... any happening/interesting incidents???

Took my class 3 at BBDC ... just notice something that when i drive ... instructor alway slp one ... no give me comments at all ... wear dark dark sungalsses then slp thruout ... (when i was driving on public roads)

i see lots of funny stuff by ppl taking their test at ubi, as i driveby that area alot. there's once a trainee mounted the kerb and kept going. Then recently, 1 private car stalled in the middle of the junction. stalled in the middle for 2 to 3 times after the lights turned red, heh, poor fella.

Hi, I'm new in the forum and would like to seek some advice. After reading all that message posted, i know that it is not easy to pass the driving test at 1st attempt. I strongly agree that it really depends on the instructor. Any recommendation for private instructor? who are good and charging at a resonable price? Coz i know that some instructor are not responsible.

once when i was doing parallel parking..
i saw another student doing it in front of me...
as i juz parked inside the slot,
my instructor told me to observe how other pple park.
the student was erm... "pro"
he went in the slot, hit n knocked down the 2 rear poles
n mounted the kerb.
then he engaged gear 1, drove forward n knocked down the
2 front poles while mounting his 2 front wheels onto the kerb..
then we saw his instructor shaking head n hitting his forehead..
LoL!
another time was oso inside BBDC's circuit...
there was a left turn bend n every1 noes that u r supposed to turn left on a left turn bend but guess wat the student did?
she (lady driver, no offense gers...) drove straight n almost drove into the long kang...
heng her instructor braked for her b4 she hit the long kang.
my instructor n me were laughing till we *pengz*

I've seen people drive the car into a huge drain during a driving lesson... kekeke

i was taking the driving test for the second time cos I fail my first. was filtering right so that I can U-turn and then head back towards BBDC then end of test liow. Saw a van which was still very very far behind. When i switched on indicator light to filter right, the van saw my double L plate (taking test mah), it sped up and purposely horn me from behind. In the end, i failed. dem angry at the driver of that van.

some of the instructors (non fix) that I'm with sleep too. And I sometimes have to ask a question to wake them up (e.g. turn where huh?) have to understand them also la. they sit int he car whole day, even me also will sleep sia. so 'nua'

My instructor slept during my lesson before and its very annoying, just imagine driving round and round the circuit!! waste my time. Hehe. There was once a ger trainee almost crash into my car, luckily she brake in time. Well.. she looks pretty though.

i think i manage to pass my TP cos the Instructor tummy pain wanna lao sai.. heheee.. so abt half the route i head back & pass!

I have hit...
FENCES lots and lots of times. One scratch was so bad.. it dented and scratched a bit of paint off. Two or three cars (light scratch) and also... lots of garbage bins.. It's great! -
There was once when i was driving on the main road...this inst. kept dozing off...as you noe...as a student when on the main road...you've no idea where the inst. wan you to go..then i was like..keep asking him whether to turn left or right...then i think he abit pissed off n wanted to slp..n ask me to drive straight..the next thing...he slpt...*tmd*...it was only then when i saw something is not right..tink the route he asked me to go straight is going to the expressway..then i quickly asked him whether shld i U-turn or not...then he was shocked...coz we've went too far...from YCK to Bishan(dunno which area)...it was out of the course route...Then...throughout the whole lesson/journey..he traught me nothing...sianz...

Once, i was 'stuck' @ a traffic junction which was on a slope somemore! And that time my halfclutch still sux big time. For more than 5min,I couldnt move off. Well it felt like an eternity. I kept doing the halfclutch like how it's instructed by my instructor and the Final Theory txtbk. But the car just wont budge & instead kept rolling backwrds.
My instructor, being the type of person that he is, started scolding me like hell. When i nicely askd for help, he folded his hands, looked towards the window on his side, saying:"I donno, i donno, u so smart, right? U say u know how 2 do, right? U do lor!"
Watde$!@#$, man! Even if i know, but sumtin goes wrong, i ask for help cannot meh??? Maybe @ first i knew, then i forgot lor....if i still know how 2 do, the car wouldve moved what....i askd for help means i donno wat 2 do oredi lor...$@!#, the instructor tinks i scared of his sarcasm. Choy!
Anyway eventually i got the car moving but my instructor kept scolding me all the way. There i was, driving in the cold cos it's raining VERY heavily & the aircon is on, and he was nagging like nobody's business. He started talking abt how he dont want 2 end up dead wth me in a car crash (AS IF i want 2 die by his side also). He nagged and nagged and nagged until i couldnt concentrate properly until i accidentally made some mistakes. As a result, he nagged even more lor.. -
My instructor often says that i gabra easily but i tink HE's the one who's gabra sia...
There were a few times, i was waiting to turn right @ a traffic junction, the car in front of me moved forward. I also moved forward a bit lor, cos i know if i dont it'll be 'obstruction' what...
After the car in front moved forward, it quickly turned right. I knew that i couldnt turn right yet cos there were oncoming vehicles coming after the car in front turned right. So i never intended 2 turn right first & instead i told myself i'll wait till the coast is clear.
BUT MY INSTRUCTOR, DAMN GABRA, HE THOUGHT I WAS GOING 2 FOLLOW THE CAR IN FRONT 2 TURN RIGHT. So just before i stopped the car to wait, my instructor yelled "Stop!" I stopped lor, cos that was my original intention what....
But he started scolding me like mad, saying that i was careless in wanting 2 follow that car in front. He said i got "no common sense".

Happen during my 2nd attempt at TP.
I did slope, Parallel and vertical parking then the TP ask me, is this TP was my first attempt. I told him it was my second. Then he just told me to go the test route!!!!
We went out, neber go test route, circle one round then came back, went up and he passed me!!!!
Neber did the S, crank course and neber finish the test route!
Maybe I did the slope and parking sui sui -
Years back at BBDC, while going thru the circuit course, the instructor was kinda bored and kept telling me about some incidents he encountered with lady drivers (no offence here).
He was telling me once while he was with a lady trainee in the circuit, the lady driver stop suddenly and he ask her why she stopped as there was no zebra crossing or traffic junction whatsoever.
The reply she gave was that there was a crow that was on her path and she stopped. Both of us just giggle our way off.
But on a serious note, its real danger to any vehicle that's behind. No wonder he kept telling me not to follow too close to a lady driver thru out the lesson. (no offence gals, just a lighter side of driving)
