totally agree.... those can avoid.Originally posted by HENG@:y dun u buy ready made die-cast ones? u can but them in any major department stores. Brands like Maisto are good quality for money. higher up the price range, brands like AutoArt are highly recommended. Some other brands like Burango... well... avoid.
Maisto, go for the premium models. they have a diff range, with diff quality.Originally posted by hotmail:totally agree.... those can avoid.
THinkn the best die cast ones are autoart...the rest... think you might as well do yourself.

Hi there.. new to SGforums.... Ok here's my take on this.... i've been playing wif TAMIYA 1:24 scale models for a while now have 3 in my possession and one more skyline to built.... always shop from this place in funan last time... i haven't done any model shopping for the past 2 yrs but i think it closed down...Originally posted by seizure_00:ya I think you meant TaiSeng. I just got interested into modelling and is on the way to get my first car model and learn to fix it up. So I guess I'll need some invaluable advice from these shops or even guys here who model carsI'm sure there will be some who frequents a particular shop that is a cut above the rest in terms of service etc. ? anyone?
