  hi people, just visited a roadshow @bukit panjang...
  
  this hyundai accent 1.3 manual only $54,888... pricing machiam like proton like that...
  
  quite gian leh... but issit a good car?
  
  disadvantages
  
  1. the passenger seat window behind is manual one!
  2. side mirror adjustment is also manual
  3. design got facelift from last time. but still doesn't look that good compared to vios
  
  but
  
  1. I can get leather seat and fog lamp free, i think..
  
  also i hope to do a internal face lift, chroomed steering wheel, metal pedals, change the gear stick, walnut finish display panel.. where can do? advisable to do? do in JB where?

  If u compare 2 new cars the difference might not be that great. But u can see it 3-5 years later. I believe proton has got lesser problem compare to korean cars since lancer engine is used. Korean car got very bad resale value too.
  
  Proton is lowering their prices because of the direct sales and also the new wira is coming out and the price is about the same as the old wira.
  
  Another car i feel worth considering is the mazda. $63k for a japanese car.

  ooi, but i check with Mazda website... donno whether issit outdated or not.... the price for 323 is $76,888!?

  It was on the papers last sat at $63k. Should be the 1.3l manual version.
