yup...too light....thats y my dad changed cars after one year.....frm a 1993 civic ESI to a 1994 Mercedes E220Originally posted by Theatre Of Dreams:if u're tokin abt the 1st civics wif the large headlights then it should be EXi instead of ESi. my dad drove the VTi auto before the current one. he kinda regretted not spending 8k more on the SiR manual which came wif many extra plusses like significantly more horsepower, rims, leather seats, sunroof. basically dere were no big qualms abt the VTi. decent performance wif decent fuel economy. cvt transmission is smooth i muz say. guess he just din like the floating effect; hondas are said to be dangerously light.
im so sorry that u're jealous...Originally posted by John Wong:har? isnt airtrek an SUV? an SUV is as good as an evo?
must b kidding me... it is so tall, doesnt have the evo's AYC, suffers from lack of steering feel, auto transmission only... etc etc.
ok so its got the evo's (detuned) engine and chassis (?) but i could slap a bus on a skyline's body but i wouldnt call it as good as a skyline.
its a family car lah, maybe your dad got it for u cos its big and u prolly wont **** yourself in an accident.
jealous? aiyo... last time someone accused me of being jealous was in primary school... haha.Originally posted by HENG@:im so sorry that u're jealous...
didn't say its AS good, but hey, its just a second slower, 30k cheaper and carries more. i cal it better value for money, and it'll still smoke most civics anyday.![]()
u're "limpeh"? u have a serious identity crisis or u trying to act old ah beng?Originally posted by John Wong:jealous? aiyo... last time someone accused me of being jealous was in primary school... haha.
kiddo, don't anyhow say people jealous, don't even know what limpeh driving
nope, one can never have too much hp. If you have good experiences with engine tuning with LSD, experienced driver with full understanding of the car, you'll have not much problems with the torque steer.Originally posted by AE86tofu:250BHP on a civic? no pt....too much torque steer...even the Focus RS with 210BHP had torque steer....and it'll beat the civic
LSD's for FF cars are usually 1-way instead of the 1.5way or 2-way used for FR cars....Mini??? of course!!! 5^!!!Originally posted by zeus83:nope, one can never have too much hp. heh, some LSD jerksthe car back and forth when you move off slowly, sounds like the engine is whining/crying. Need lots of experience finding the right LSD.
i agree bout the RS. If i wanna go for a good handling hatchback, i'll get the mini. If not, i'll settle for a more powerful satria GTI.
weight distribution and short wheelbases are some of the other problems of hatchbacks..
yea, 5^.Originally posted by AE86tofu:LSD's for FF cars are usually 1-way instead of the 1.5way or 2-way used for FR cars....Mini??? of course!!! 5^!!!
whoa! harking back to the 70s all over again! cool!Originally posted by zeus83:yea, 5^.Usually it's 1-way, but that doesnt stop mugen from selling 2-way lsd for civics, although costly to implement.
i wonder what will happen if everyone decided to get minis and hundreds of aftermarket parts come to SG markets.. It would be so damn cool to see minis racing at orchard.![]()
