  Hi Voidskin,
  
  I'm no expert, but willing to share what I know cos currently I'm driving a 2001 Vti ES8.
  
  Currently didn't have the money to mod the car but did change and add a few parts, like 16 inches white sports rim, white side signal light. Just added the front and back lips, side skirts and spoiler early this yr (do outside, cheaper but quality also not as good, heh). Errrmmm change a RS front grill and added a KNS air filter.
  
  Yup, think for a start think you can change the KNS filter.
  
  There's a few things I will add if I got spare cash (sorry, I'm not into heavy mod cos think no point for my civic).
  
  i) Broquet Fuel Charger. Suppose to save petrol and increase torgue (add a few horsepower, accordingly).
  ii) A Strut bar to increase stability of car.
  
  Other mod might include a Crank Pully. Should let your car increase at least 10 horsepower i heard, not confirm. Still having my stock suspension but will be glad to change a set of better one.

  Hmmm some extra power will be good, though money is still a factor to consider.

  dun mind i give some comment.
  
  i have friends who tried out boquet and told me it's a waste of money. for the kind of money, how many tank of petrol are you going to save to cover the cost of that thing. and it doesn't really work well too. i personally didn't try it so i dunno.
  
  other things you can do to your civic is to replace your intake filter to open port type. personally i prefer K&N or apexi. both has got good reviews. but bear in mind it'll reduce some lower end torque but it give more powerful high end.
  
  for the lower end side, you can throw in 1 or 2 E68. change to denso irdium plug and get the spark plug cable changed. you might want to consider power boost valve but it'll increase a bit of your fuel comsuption. to the little more extreme side, you can consider ADM air charger($600 w/o installation). the air charger gives light turbo charged effect. personally i didn't try this too. cos my car comes turbo charged already.

  Errmmm........... don't try modding yr car in causeway, you will be asking for more troubles. Furthermore yrs is a new car.
  
  Not too sure if you can find the parts you want in there or not. Beware they take you as a vegetable head. CHop you then u know......................
