Modification of van

  Hi everyone,
  i m getting the car-van from Peugeot.Wondering,where do u guys go for modification?What kind of modification can be done?
  any recommended places to look for accessories?
  any nice pics to share?thks.

  hi .. dun say till like tat lar...
  mod soesnt mean to make it race like a civic or anything...
  
  some of the things i did : for comfort...but there are LTA and agent warrenty void to consider...
  
  1) trade in the lousy tyre michillin... to aspec dB500 yocohama... very silent
  got mine at jurong kerchil ... top up afer trade in a set $240. 14"
  
  2) the roof behind is a single layer metal ... thus rain like metal drums... sound proof it wif some sound proofing material.
  
  3) at the driver side the speed beeper... on the bottom right. take out the panel.. take out the beeper and tape wif black tape.
  very soft beeping when u speeding... radio a bit loud .. u wont even hear the beep.
  
  4) as the windows is a bit tined... side window already at 70% trans...
  the front at 73%... added huper optiks the clear coat for UV reduction...
  cos i wrk .. and after .. always against the bloody sun..
  
  5) got the sticky mesh sun shade frm autobac... cover the back for back car beams at nite.. .
  
  thats abt all... .
  
  thus its more on comfort..for my car...
  but LTA approve.. ahhaa no idea..and pray...
  
  trying to find K&N filter for tat smoother drive .. but cannot find leh,....
  
  cos i knoe apsec DB on commercial vehicle heard its not approve... some pass .. dun knoe...
  sports or alloy rim... cannot.. .so nv change .. my uncle kango... 15" sports rims..and typre ganna TP...
  
  so try to remain stock on the outside.. so to prevent TP...

  i got my berlingo.. at 33.3k
  anyway jus comparing... cos they are exactly the same thing

  i agree with AE86Tofu... someone need to grow up. I think someone cant even half clutch properly...

  berlingo not bad lar..apart from the cabin noise....thats according to the video review i have frm top gear....btu space wise it's damn big lar...petrol is better cos more powerful but this is singapore and it's damn ex so diesel is a right choice

  and next - anyone here using these car-van using iridium sparks plugs? can use?

  if it's a diesel engine then no spark plugs....cos combustion diff

  thru compression of the diesl and air mixture....and for cold starts in a diesel a glow plug is used to help warm the mixture...helping it to combust more easily

  MAN Exhaust Works in sin ming drive supplies K&N filters too...try check it out...

  hi there.. how much to do up the sound proofing for the roof.. damn my van also beri loud and noisy when it rains... and by the way.. if u install the K&N filter.. its gonna be loud,..especially diesel engine...

  hehehe i dun mind the noise of the engine
  as long as can be more responesive.... smoother
  .. minus the taxi ting ting ting sound.. anyway inside cannot hear... so okie
  
  the sound proofing i got it done in bt batok... blk 271 bt.batok east ave 2..
  Hai Wee Enterprise Tel : 65665983.. look for desmond..
  i did 2 layers... one very thin layer of the thin bl;ack good quality audio sound proof strip. (expensive a pc at 80)
  and a layer of black foamsound proofing material. .... make sure u get the use glue do one.. not double side tape.. cos...if not glue,... can drop...cost mi 155 total...
  
  but frankly the black foam layer enuff.. cost 90 bucks... and forget to say..it helps the back top from heating up .
  and their wrkmanship very good....service very good too...
  
  after .. no sound at all from the back... ahhaha now is the front loud compare to the back..wahahhahaha... but not so bad anyway...

  i knoe man wrks exhaust is a good place to do exhaust for racing fans...
  but the k&n ... hmm heard frm other .. its pretty pricy .. high end shop...
  
  will look ard other shop.. or ask my aunt .. owns a apre parts accessories t shop to lok for mi

  If got lobang on where to get K&N at reasonable price remember to Pmsg me Looking for one quite badly....Exhaust ar...Do they do exhaust for ALL cars?

  anyone here using 14" alloy rim aka sports rim for their kangoo berlingo or those car van?
  i knoe is illegal but is there a lot of drivers using?..
  how much the fine? any point cut?
