Mitsubishi Airtrek- Is it serious?

  The engine warning light came up just after one hour i collected from the new car centre.
  
  When i head down to the service centre the next day, the tech checked and told me that the gas flow is not stable.....told me to continue driving for one week and see whether the warning light stil comes out or not...if yes.... then they wil carry out repair.. can anyone please advise if this is serious and will it damage the engine or performance of the car? sigh and disappointed.

  yours is the non turbo version ah?
  strange. isolated case maybe. my Ralliart Airtrek Turbo R has no probs at all.

  Show them the car manual. It said to send to service center for check n is abnormal! Wich service center u goes?

  118k + another 2k for optional front sun roof rear moon roof.

  would be 112k for the Turbo R without the ralliart package.

  havelock, tat's the satellite station. Try b4. Service and Equipment at there very lousy. Suggest u go to Pandan where they got more hi-tech equipment to test. Ppl there more helpful and nice!

  guys you know what? i went down yesterday and got them to solve the engine warning light once and for all ...i can't wait and monitor for one week...so i was told that the fault came from a faulty valve that is directing posion gas back to the engine.was told it will affect the performance of the engine...(any advise from you guys?)..so ok...left my baby there for repair... when i collected the baby..i blinding took the keys and head home...when i was washing it then,,,i realised that my front number plate was dented...goosh.....i really lost my cool..first thing that came to my mind was.they's knock my new baby..next i found out...that someone had used my cig lighter to light up a stick...not only he left the smoke smell,,it also dirty the light hole.and cushion...gooshh..yes i am a non=smoker...but the point is...you want to light up...do it in your own spot and with your own lighter...not mine.....goosh...anyway the customer service centre viewed thru the cam that recorded the workshop activities and they'll take actions against the staff and will also get my number plate replaced....gooosh...what a bad experience...my new car...in such a short time after collection....hmmm 4 days? o man.......

  where u go to service? my airtrek n service center dun have so many probs leh

  Is yours bought Frm C&C or nt....C&C's workshop service is good mar.....unless u bought it frm somewhere else
