Car Rental For P Plate

Hi!! I just passed my TP yesterday...just wondering where can i rent a car? Most rental companies i've seen online require driver to be atleast 25 & 2 years exp.

yes. unless u can find some companies which are willing to increase ur insurance coverage and rent u the car (means if u kanna anything u pay more than normal).
but its quite hard to find lah.. gd luck.

and the cars tat they have is a toyota starlet without power steering, SBE XXXX, a toyota corolla 1.6L auto, a nissan sunny, honda civic...

and the best i cound find was 19 yrs old & 1 year driving experience...
I haven't even got my license yet...still holding on to the reciept!! -
P-plate v hard 2 rent car... Muz at least 1 yr drivin experience...

It's more of a car-sharing program...just pay an annual membership of around $100 and you can rent a car from hourly to long term basis at about the same rate for renting a car. -

don't be so gan jiong lah...take your license 1st...i rem someone told me before that it is against the law that if u drive where u haven't take your license,but i don't know its true anot loh....but don't risk.!! license is precious...

if the rental company does not want to rent out to you, then it is their stupidity for being so rigid and lack of business minded, you can imagine in 1 yr how many new drivers there are...with their 1 yr probation period.

want to rent car and drive very easy. get someone who is qualified, ur father/brother or sister to rent the car, then u drive lor... simple and good, provided u don't lan-ga lah. -

but agreed: dun so gan jiong lah! aloto ppl in singapore oso get license liao but no car to drive for yrs. -

erm.. i believe the minimum is 1 yr experience, before u can rent a car.. last time when i first got my driver's license.. managed to find a friend to rent the car instead.. the first time was okie.. nothing went wrong.. cos was driving a nissan march 1.0 manual... the second time my friend rented a proton wira 1.3 auto... erm... got into a slight accident..
ended up paying abt $1++ in all.. inclusive of the extension in rental and repairs..

I have rented cars from Dave a few times oredi. He and his partner are very polite and well-spoken. Since I'm a new drive, he even showed me how to park e car (when I said I still have problem parking). When I rented the car for a few days and told him I dunno what I'm supposed to check daily, he bothered to write out a list for me and showed me.
I'm a member of CitySpeed but they don't give this kind of service! Although to rent from Dave is very inconvenient and more expensive, I much prefer to do so. -
