Any1 tested the new mazda 3? Any reviews? Pls share

Hi,

Haha, I was bo liao so went down wif a colleague to Mazda in MacPherson just now, and tested drive the Mazda 3.

Okie, admit this is the 1st time I'm seriously impressed with the Mazda. I like the HATCH BACK MAZDA 3 with full kit. Very very chio.

The car is new so the engine is very smooth and quiet. Pick up also not too bad, and got the 'manual' shift gear to play with. Played with it as well, and the mid-range surge is rather good for a 1.6l. Rather suprise.

Overall designs and interior will get 5 stars out of 5 from me. And performance 4 star (Not too sure if it gets older). The only draw back is that the Hatch Back Mazda 3 Sports edition cost 85,888! That's a lot of money for a Mazda 1.6l!!!

The saloon is nice as well but not as nice as the hatch back. The basic model for the Mazda 3 saloon is 77,888..... pretty okie, but there's only one color to choose from! Sad............... Heard from the sales man the saloon is selling better than the hatch back cos of the price.

Ermmmm overall the car is nice, esp the HATCHBACK SPORT! But for that price, most probably won't buy it, as I rather drive my current 01 Civic. In fact, a 1.6 Civic now only cost ard 80k flat.

Sometime, its the brand that counts.

Ermmmm the engine is different from the 323, its the new developed VVT (something like Toyota VVTI) , and that the interior designs follows that of the RX-8.

I like the Speedometer as well, chio.

it seems to me that the saloon design is quite similar to that of the 323.. is that so.. cause i see from picture only.. and are there much leg room for the rear seats? and wat abt the colour to choose from. wat is that only color?

m intending to get one of those..but not the hatch back one...planning to get a saloon type, but either the luxury or the sports model..how much is tat??..anyone know??..

anyway, just launched, so sure rather expensive..will wait till yr end of get tat, price should drop by then..

it looks quite impressive, but the rear leg room looks crampy to me.. should cost ard 76K..

no..i see the website liao...there's 4 version..the sedan, sports, luxury n RS model...cheapest is the sedan from 76K..wonder how much is the luxury..but luxury no body kit leh...n wondering how much...my budget for the car is ard 85K

saw the rs model at the center, looks nice, the price is arnd 84,888, now should go up abit liao...

anyway, as i said, wait for at least 6mths b4 buying the car..reasons are price will fall after a certain time..n most impt, let pple drive the new car 1st, see if there're any technical faults in the car..

Hmmm~ My hubby went 2 e webby n saw dis mazda3 n he prefers e one without e hatchback... E shape nicer... But 4 mi i stil prefer mazda6...
