Driving lesson

Hi, i would like to seek some advice, which is better school or private driving centre? Any recommendation for private instructor? Coz i know that some instructor are not responsible.

if you want to pass your driving in the shortest time possible (and of course pass in just one attempt) then sch is the best way out IMO. The average period to wait for your driving test in around 3 - 4 weeks from the day you finished all lessons. However, fee for per session is aroun 60 dollars + / - depending on Fixed instructor or Non Fix, peak hour or non peak. (BBDC)
private lessons are much cheaper, from 20-30 bucks per session but the wait for the TP test is much longer, some times as long as 4-6 months. its all a matter of choice from here. of course, if time is an issue, i would recommend the school but if its money that matters in your case, private is the cheapest .

$67+ for peak hrs (7.10p.m - 10.40p.m)

Just some facts....
A friend of mine took the private path, passed in one attempt... He spent about $900 and took around 6 months to get his license.
As for me, I went to BBDC, spent $1500 and got my license in less than 2 month's time passing in the first attempt as well... -
Money is a concern for me i wan to spend as minimum as possible. so anybody know good private instructor?

If you had prior driving experience and have passed your final theory test,I suggest learning through private.It's cheaper and faster.
However,if you are intent on learning through school,from what i know,only CDC in ubi has no minimum lessons to go through before you're elilgible to book for your Practical test.Other schools implement a minimum 25 lessons.
In the case which you have not passed your final theory test,it'll be better to go through school.They have very useful theory tutorials that will help you a great deal in your final theory test.
In the case of you having taken the practical test once but failed as a private student.There are express courses in schools that cater just 8 lessons for you before you take the Practical test again.This is for private students who don't wish to wait the long duration. -

Actually it could have been less than 2 months... I had a 1 month break for my exams. Went for 21 lessons altogether, 8 in October, 8 in November and 5 between late December to mid January... -
last time i learnt from private instructor...that time rates are cheaper...18 per hour. in the end , i spend less than $800 before getting my licence....( first time pass with 10 points!)

I have pass my final and now going to apply PDL. Ya i do understand that sch is better but i think is too ex, as i will be only having my lesson during peak period, so i will most likely taking private. But i don't have any reliable instructor so seeking for recommendation.
