Ok. I got mine on 8th Jan 2004. It is black. I have the wood grain installed but the leather seats are done by my father-in-law. Can choose higher quality for the leather. Can view my car if you all want to. Hee hee.Originally posted by Toyota_supporter:I have just collected my Altis one month ago, one of the first few to be on the road. Now you may be seeing more and more. For those who just got it or have booked one. WELCOME TO THE CLUB.
I hope to use this forum to exchange views on this wonderful car.

Yup, love the shape. easy to get in and out from the rear too due to the higher seat.Originally posted by cagelee131:think the shape of altis is nicer than the previous corolla...looks like a smaller version of Lexus ES300
When I got the car, I just depressed the brake pedal a bit and can feel that the brake is good and effective. After 2 weeks, I need to depress abt half or deeper to feel the brakes engaging. Anyway the car still can stop, so it's ok.Originally posted by Toyota_supporter:No way it can go 17km/ltr. Not even a 1000cc car.
mine did about 12km/ltr.
How did you find out the brake not so good ??

I think it's bigger a bit but not significant. My seats have 1/2 inch more higher cushion installed when I changed to leather seats.Originally posted by Toyota_supporter:Do you guys think that the Altis interiror is bigger than the corolla ?? My friend told me that the rear leg room is bigger, I think is the same judging from the fact that the front and back door looks the same size.
But I love the higher seat that make getting in and out easier.![]()
